Plaid Bags

Our first ever House of Plaid product is here. It's a Plaid messenger bag, hand crafted by the guys at Bagaboo.
This is a nice bag. Built like a real deal messenger bag, it's made of tough cordura nylon, put together individually, by hand, in Hungary. Duraflex buckles, seatbelt webbing for the shoulder strap, YKK zippers and 'cosmolon' velcro. Tough materials selected by a former bike messenger in Budapest. For real.
The outside of the bag features a 2/3 plaid pattern (kind of feels like heavy duty wool), and 1/3 cordura nylon.

The main bin is big enough for a MacBook, and loads and loads of other goodies. There are also three smaller pockets, perfect for separating your cords, camera, phone, sketchbook, etc. Two outer zippered pockets offer additional storage. Strap is adjustable, and includes a tough shoulder guard with loops and places to strap a walkie, cell phone, or whatever. Bottom of the bag includes a reflective stripe.
This is a limited edition piece - only 30 bags have been made for sale. Each bag comes with an official Plaid numbered hang tag (1/30, 2/30, 3/30, etc). Once they sell out, we'll never make them again.
We're offering these bags at OUR COST. We're not making a dime on them. Our goal is to continue to sustain House of Plaid, and offer original design goods, while supporting independent manufacturers and artists. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us!
Limited edition Plaid messenger bag (only 30 pieces produced), $120, includes flat rate shipping via USPS.

plaid was popularized by Queen Victoria & her ilk, with curmudgeonly support from certain Scots (never Scottish) clan chiefs. Few Scottish tartans are genuine before about 1812. The tartans were a very successful version of establishing ScottishInc as a brand concept (now aided and abetted by the likes of Messrs Connery & Connolly.!)See www.electricscotland for further on clans, history etc and specific tartans. Plaid is a general warp & weft , very lowly regarded by the toffs, but much used by the hoi polloi. So perhaps this is the sense of your blog/ brand/ and market positioning strategy. Sort of daft Sassanach ponderings , but probably inevitably to be successful. Of course you need to develop a more democratic , Non-Ohio form of sneer that say Mark Twain would ha' used, but then he was a bush poet poseur of sorts anyhow. Now to be thoroughly disrepectful , I'm signing of.
GPS Go guili, tame the accounts of those northern mountainfolk, wait a minute, that sounds like the hi'lands.
